History

Stonebridge Commercial Solutions Ltd is a commercial and dispute resolution consultancy that has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. At Stonebridge we specialise in providing business focussed solutions to commercial issues on major international construction projects.

Our principal, Michael Nelson has with wide ranging experience from project set-up through to dispute resolution.

Stonebridge Commercial Solutions Ltd is based in the UK and serves clients around the globe.

In 2025, Stonebridge Commercial Solutions joined the Rendel and Ingerop Group, becoming part of a major international engineering consultancy.

Key Personnel

Stonebridge Commercial Solutions Ltd. was founded by Michael Nelson, a chartered quantity surveyor with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He is skilled at liaising with multidisciplinary teams of construction professionals and advising at an executive level on major international projects.

Prior to entering consultancy, Michael worked for a number of construction contractors and was involved in the commercial management and contract administration of major construction schemes.

Our personnel have wide ranging experience that includes project set-up, procurement strategy, project structuring, tendering, procurement, risk reviews, commercial management, contract administration, project reviews, dispute resolution, acting as adjudicators and representing parties in dispute resolution forums.

Recent project experience includes hospitals, uranium processing plants, nuclear power plants, international, LNG plants, desalination plants, LNG power plants, jet fuel facilities and major infrastructure works. These global mega-projects span regions including the Middle East, Egypt, South Africa, Australia, and Japan.
